Stoneware with Bunzler Braun coffee-brown clay glaze with an Austrian two-headed eagle and floral ornamentation executed in white relief. Pewter mounts preserved only on the body. The production of Bolesławiec pottery dates back to the Middle Ages, with the local clay ensuring a very strong and durable ceramic product. Characteristic Bunzler Braun glaze accented with white relief has been used since the eighteenth century. It was initially painted over, but after 1750 it was left white or was gilt. This is an entirely unique type of decoration specific to Bolesławiec.
